How to start the engine: First be sure that there is enough fuel in the tank and open the tap. With cold engine Set the choke lever on the carburetor in the backward position. Set the throttle level so to have a bit more than minimum. Install the hand crank lever. Push on the valve lifter on the left side of the engine and turn the hand crank as quick as possible and with conviction 3 or 4 turns and release the valve lifter continuing to turn the hand crank. The engine must start. As soon as the engine starts, set the choke lever forward. With hot engine It is not necessary to use the choke and generaly one turn of hand crank is enough. If the engine is overflood, set the throttle fully open and turns the hand crank while pushing on the valve lifter, this will ventilate the engine.
The LMP (Anciens Etablissements Lalo-Mignonac) Type 5. Manufactured Rue de la pointe at Romainville (Seine). This small tractor of 12cv with gazoline engine is technicaly very interresting. I am searching all types of informations and documentations on this model.
