Here11 November 2010: Every thing is not going as initialy scheduled. I have remove the cover on which hold the leaky oil seal and I have found immediatly why there is oil everywhere. The reason is very simple, when you hold a crankshaft in a wise, this one makes somemarks which are definitives, when these marks are on the aera where the lips of the oil seal rolls, then the result is evident. During a previous work on this engine, the guy who has works on it (I don't call him a mechanic as he is not one!) has done a very bad job, many parts are damaged. The below photos are more expresives than a long speetch.

This is the area where the lips of the oil seal touch!
To remove the crankshaft from a W112Bis Bernard engine, it is necessary to remove the engine from the chassis. This is what I have done and other surprises where there too. Having no technical documents on this tractor, it has taken me hours to remove the engine from the chassis without damaging parts. All this to discover that the oil seal behind the clutch flywheel was leaking also, fortunatly without serious damages.
This is the nut holding the engine flywheel. The marks on it have not been made by me of course. Put your mouse on the photo for another view.

Here is the second Multiplex which has join the model "A" I already own. This is a model "B" equiped with a Bernard W112 Bis engine. This tractor is not running but the repair will not be too complicated. The inlet valve guide is completly worned out, as well as the throttle axle of the carburetor. The ignition coil is also weak and last, the oil seal behind the flywheel is leaking. As a consequence, the cylinder head is covered with a mix of oil and dust. I already found the replacement parts. The repair is thus just a matter of time.
